This is an excellent opportunity to get in-depth Human Resources applied knowledge in a large healthcare organization. You will gain valuable experience in an administrative support role in one of these areas and will be able to pursue personal learning goals in People and Culture. Your Internship will provide experience in ONE of the following areas in the Department of People and Culture.
*Mandatory cross-department additional learning projects will be made available by the Intern Program Coordinator
Currently enrolled in a post-graduate or post-secondary program focused on Human Resources with a required co-op work term
Previous office related experience or experience in Human Resources is an asset
Attention to detail and the ability to work with confidential information is essential
Effective organizational and administrative skills
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong interpersonal skills.
Comfort working in a hospital environment preferred
Demonstrated initiative and commitment to learning
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Proof of up to date vaccines and immunizations (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
