Excellent Opportunity for a seasoned Production Coordinator looking to grow their career in one of the leading Aerospace companies in Montreal!

Description:

• Elaborate short and long capacity plans (manpower and hangar space); for all rotable parts under their portfolio.
• Harmonize production plans with other teams (logistics teams, methods teams and project managers)
• Communicate production plans and alterations
• Follow business adherence plan to ensure that the parts are being rotated accurately according to the cycle.
• Create and maintain performance reports for variety of suppliers.
• Prepare scenario to support manufacturing strategies in the case of shortage of parts. This could be seeking out suppliers,

o There is an installation sequence (installation priority, step by step, that is provided by the engineering teams. The planner will use this to provide visibility and help plan for the exact impact this will have on the workforce. e.g. An engine may be at the top of the priority list, and so the engineering teams/repair teams will likley need a replacement for a particular date.

o Visibility of the impact on the space for the actual storage of these parts, whether in Montreal or Toronto.

• The team uses excel and SAP to track all flow of parts.
• Support / participate in improvement projects
• May be required to present information to stakeholders and team in digestible terms

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong Excel for managing and forecasting pieces and precise units.
• Logistics understanding, for forecasting timeline of shipping.
• 2+ years of experience working with large corporations for production of parts. Understanding of orders, timeline, receiving handling working with methods etc.
• 2+ years of experience, in production planning or logistics.
• Understanding of operations management. Someone who understands operations of large organization material flow.
