Who Are We?
The Activate New Graduate Development Program is designed to provide recent graduates with the opportunity to kick-start your career in Strategic Functions. The Activate program has 8 separate business line streams and depending on your skillsets, you will dive deep in one of those areas. Across your time in the program as an Associate, you will rotate through different areas within your stream. Each rotation in the Activate program will provide you with experiences that build a foundation for you to become a future leader, accelerating your career journey from day one. You’ll also have access to skill-building workshops and challenging work-integrated learning opportunities that will rapidly accelerate your development!

Your Career as an Activate Program Associate:
You’ll join our Activate Development program as a full-time permanent employee and will spend 18-30 months rotating to pre-determined areas that will challenge you and provide you with opportunities to learn and grow into a Strategic Functions professional. Our goal at the end of the program is to land you into a permanent role in your area of focus – after 4-6 rotations, you’ll be set up to hit the ground running! These rotations are key to your development and aim to ensure you receive a wide breadth of experience in a short period of time. It also provides you with the opportunity to discover your passions and learn more about your areas of interest; you’ll gain a well-rounded view of the entire organization, while gaining practical experience, focused on high-impact projects within your business line.

What is the CPA Pre-Approved Program (PPR)?
Activate has a pre-approved Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Pre-Approved training program (PPR) designed to help you fulfill the designation requirements, including strong communication and critical thinking skills. We’re seeking outstanding leaders pursuing their CPA designation while developing comprehensive depth and breadth experience outside of the traditional external audit career path. Our program is specifically targeted toward graduates of a CPA Canada accredited university program who will be writing the Common Final Examination (CFE) in September 2023 prior to joining the program. This rotational program provides exposure to Global Audit, Financial Accounting & Reporting, Accounting Policies and Procedures, and Tax across your 30-months in program.
