Position Summary:
The Director, People & Culture reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer & Head of People & Office Operations, with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Commissioner. The incumbent creates a diverse and inclusive culture and ensures that the right people are in the right roles doing the right things to drive business success. The Director, P&C turns the league office strategy and business plan into actionable steps and executes efficiently and effectively. This role helps enable business success by researching, designing and implementing best in class People & Culture programs aligned with the long-term goals.
The Director, People & Culture will work with people managers to implement initiatives that drive individual and cross-functional engagement, collaboration and operational excellence. An active participant in the IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility) Working Group, the incumbent will help foster a diverse and inclusive environment that values top performance and leverages all forms of diversity to drive results and effect a positive work culture

Location:
CFL League Office is in Toronto. Most employees are working remotely or hybrid. This role will work onsite at least two days per week. Must be willing and able to attend meetings or other business events at the league office or other venue as business needs dictate. Proof of vaccination is a condition of employment
