Love to lead and mentor a growing IT team ? The Application Development Manager is part of a Global IT Team servicing SCIEX, Molecular Devices, and the Life Sciences Platform. This is a technical hands-on leadership position, and you will have the opportunity to lead, inspire, coach, and mentor a team of application developers to deliver best enterprise applications and IT solutions.
This position is part of the global enterprise IT team , the position is located remotely in Canada with a preference for the NE / Ontario.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Lead, inspire, coach, and mentor a team of application developers to deliver best enterprise applications and IT solutions.

Provide project management and strong technical leadership and direction to team by supervising design/architectures
-
Develop the technical roadmap of projects/technologies.

Support team in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and best practices
-
Foster a team culture focused on technical collaboration, new technologies adoption, process automation, ownership, and accountability.

Responsible for the staffing and the execution of multiple projects to ensure they are delivered on time, on budget, with good quality and meets customer needs

Facilitate talent development through performance management and coaching.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
-
Minimum of five years professional experience in application development with , with at least one or more years experience of leading a development team and / or leading projects

BS /BA degree in Science, Engineering or similar discipline is required
-
Strong design and architectural skills in application development.

Experience with MS technology to include web service integration , Python scripting and PowerShell is required. Stacks such as Power Platform and Azure services are preferred.

Knowledge with enterprise application such as Oracle EBS, Saleforces.com is an asset.

Ability to work remotely as well as some limited travel
