Job Purpose and Impact
The Accounting Associate will act as a point of contact for selected regional partners or processes to support accounting services. In this role you will gain experience in accounting, financial reporting, process improvement and Record To Report processes. Key Accountabilities
Support accounting services for selected processes and countries, which include accounting for administrative expenses, assist in payment processing, coordinate month-end general ledger close, prepare balance sheet reconciliations and provide profit and loss analysis.
Ensure all internal controls are in place and monitored, financial processes are performed timely and accurately and in compliance with regulatory policies.
Participate in process improvement projects within global business services.
Participate in other initiatives and provide support for roles in the area of Record To Report.
Handle basic clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
Strong team player and ability to handle multiple priorities in a timely manner with required quality
Knowledge of accounting, finance or Right To Record
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
