Job description
Bird Nason Contracting Group is currently seeking applications for experienced Rock Truck Operators for a project near Vanderhoof B.C. with an anticipated start date of April 2023.
Anticipated Start Date: April 2023
Project: Blackwater Gold – Construction of a gold mine crushing circuit and processing circuit
Location: Near Vanderhoof, BC
Schedule: 14 days on, 7 days off, 10 hour per day
Wage: $40.25 – $44.87 per hour per hour as per Collective Agreement
Benefits and RRSP Provided as per Collective Agreement
Camp Provided
Travel Available if Applicable
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:
- Responsible for the safe operation of Rock Truck following manufactures and industry standards;
- Knowledge of smooth operation of machine controls
- Knowledge of proper loading, hauling, and dumping procedures
- Ability to operate 2-way radio
- Plan and execute operation activities to avoid schedule delays
- Operate Equipment in tight work areas and in proximity of workers, underground utilities, overhead power lines
- Maintaining, cleaning, and fueling equipment.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating Rock Truck
- CSTS-09 or CSTS 20
- WHMIS 2015
- Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
