What the day will look likeWe are proud of our group’s ability to support our business leaders and this role will lead evolving financial analysis requests from the business and transaction management. If you want to use your strategic problem-solving skills to translate Aon’s vision into practical quantitative plans, this role may be just the thing! Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
Prepare, analyse, and report on results
Access information maintained in various financial systems and databases to analyse, prepare, and present business analysis to management
Analysis of client revenues
Creating invoices for WIP, direct bill and fees, contract set-ups, commission analysis and ensuring reconciliation of cash and carrier receivables
WIP invoices and fees are working on non-standard and issues with the Offshore teams
Provide analysis to achieving financial objectives, including – budgeting, forecasting, tracking variances, etc.
Assist with the annual budgeting processes, including data collection and analysisLoad monthly revenue extracts from subsystem(s) to GL
Respond to internal ad-hoc requests as assigned

In this role you will be an integral part of the Canada’s Health team, a trusted advisor to regional leaders and support the National Director of Finance in leading and executing on finance and business priorities in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, changing environment.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
FP&A experience (Forecasting, Planning and Analysis) is required
Minimum 5 years of Accounting/Finance experience in a corporate environment
Attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrated technical accounting and finance competency
Exceptional interpersonal skills with capability to interact with leaders to cultivate and maintain strong relationships
Detail oriented but able to step back to understand and articulate the bigger picture
Ability to work well under pressure and to prioritize multiple projects
Experience in the insurance industry is an asset
