We are looking for an experienced Accounting professional with a problem-solving mindset and a demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment within a high performing culture. You bring a strong work ethic and positive attitude to your responsibilities every day.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely reports associated with KDP’s portfolio of foreign exchange Derivatives and Hedge accounting (KDP Canada, KDP US, KDP Ireland)
- Maintain subledger details and reconciliations on foreign exchange gains and losses to ensure completeness and accuracy with foreign exchange module GTreasury and SAP
- Execute foreign exchange month-end revaluation and prepare balance sheet exposure summaries from foreign exchange
- Monitor new accounts to be added and determine correct accounting treatment to foreign exchange month-end revaluation
- Produce meaningful financial information and analysis on a proactive basis
- Run material ledger close process and reconciliation for manufacturing plant
- Review variances in material ledger reconciliation, investigate and identify driver
- Prepare other ad-hoc reports and analysis within the International Controllership team
Required Competencies and Aptitudes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience; CPA preferred
- 3+ years financial reporting experience
- Manufacturing plant, Cost Accounting, Material Ledger experience will be considered as assets
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; SAP experience highly preferred
- Prior experience with foreign exchange reconciliation preferred
- Financial acumen, experience with problem solving and strong analytical thinking
- Strong attention to detail, hands-on, high intellectual curiosity, and strategic mindset
- Ability to collaborate and be a self-motivated positive team player
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational skills and able to handle a high work volume
- Forward-thinking in utilizing technology, process improvement, implementing tools and techniques to improve analytics, driving better business decisions
