Bilingual Customer Service Representative
Job Title: Bilingual Customer Service Representative (French & English)
Salary Range: $55,000k- $60,000k RRSP Matching; Health Benefits
Position Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: Monday- Friday; Steady days
Work Location: St. Catharines, ON
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consulting, quoting, and Placing customer orders
- Consulting customers with technical and commercial information
- Encourage client to go beyond his initial need and requirement
- Quoting according to customer specifications and personal recommendations
- Following up on customer quotations through regular telephone contact
- Accurately cost items based on guidelines provided by Operations and Accounting
- Create sales orders in ERP system
- Re-connect with past customers based on review of historic sales
- Access and provide product availability information
- Correspond with customers, dealers, purchasers and sales representatives
- Suggest and implement LEAN ideas to improve department processes
- Generate the best possible business experience for our customer
- Work in a safe manner by adhering to all Company Health & Safety policies and Legislated Regulations
REQUIREMENTS
- Fully Bilingual in both French & English; written and verbal
- Post-Secondary Education or minimum of 3 years equivalent work experience
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
