Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full life cycle recruitment efforts for our Home Health operations in the New Market / York region, Durham Region or Peterborough Region.

In this role, you will be working closely with all stakeholders to understand the needs of the business, while collaborating with your HR colleagues and peers to identify and attract great talent, and ultimately deliver the best client and candidate experience. This is an exceptional opportunity for a resourceful and experienced Talent Acquisition professional who enjoys a challenge, likes diversity in their work, and has the ability to strategically source talent at all levels.

This role will be primarily home based and will require ravel to offices across all of our Home Health Ontario regions.

Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day

• Collaborate with the business and HR/TA leaders to develop regional recruitment strategies and ensure flawless execution with the support of all stakeholders
• Plan and lead full life cycle recruiting for roles including Nurses, Personal Support Workers, and other professionals
• Develop strong relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders and equip them with the knowledge and tools they need to support the hiring process
• Provide an advisory approach to talent acquisition – ensure the entire process delivers a positive experience for hiring managers and candidates through effective coaching, planning, communication and delivery of outcomes
• Proactively source talent by leveraging social media and other online networks to identify and attract qualified “great fit” candidates
• Screen, interview, and short list candidates for hiring managers and ensure all interviews are scheduled accordingly
• Identify, share and implement best practices and trends in talent acquisition
• Provide regular reporting and metrics to all appropriate stakeholders
• Be a brand ambassador and promote CBI as an employer of choice online and all appropriate forums/events

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful

• 3+ years of full life cycle talent acquisition experience in a corporate environment
• University degree is required, and HR designation is considered an asset
• Experience in Healthcare is preferred
• The ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders across the organization
• A collaborative approach – a strong team player
• Proven organization, communication and presentation skills
