Aerotek Looking for Stamping Press Operator- Long Term, FT at Ontario Full Time

Aerotek is currently hiring on behalf of a manufacturing client that is supporting the mining industry! We are looking to add a stamping press operator to the team! This is a long term, full time position.

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong experience with troubleshooting stamping press machines

• 3 years minimum operating a stamping press machine.

• Ability to read blueprints

• 3 years minimum of using calipers, micrometer, protractor, height gauge, gauge pins and drop through gauges

• Ability to lift 50lbs regularly

Job Preview:

-Set up tools, feeders, coilers, and coil straighteners

-Inspect and record part dimensions per quality plan and customer specifications

-Troubleshoot causes when parts do not conform to customer specifications

-Unload and package finished parts for shipment

-Remove and clear scrap from press and work area as needed

-Report part counts and labor accurately and in a timely manner

Pay:

• $24-27/hr, depending on experience

Shift:

• 3:30PM- 12:00AM
