SCOPE
True Generalist scope, excluding Recruitment and Comp/Benefits areas for which we have SMEs on our team already. However, should be knowledgeable about general Recruitment and Hiring (compensation) practices in order to guide leaders
Employee Relations, Performance Management, Employee Experience/Employee Engagement action planning, leadership coaching (entry level)
DUTIES
Support Employee Relations matters alongside the HR Business Partner(s) and business leaders
Help support the work of the Partner team on various employee files including, but not exclusive to performance management, employee coaching and addressing instances of conflict/workplace incivility
Provide employees and frontline managers with general HR support regarding day to day talent-related matters
Support the development and execution of annual Employee Relations policy campaigns
Support the overall deployment of all Talent programming
Coach managers on employee performance issues, including the development of performance improvement plans
Play a key coordination role in the Exit Interview process
Must Have’s:
3-5 years of experience in the field of Human Resources, either in a generalist position or across more than one functional area (i.e. Recruitment, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, etc.)
Demonstrated understanding of the Employment Standards Act of Ontario
Solid knowledge of HR and Talent policy best practices
Client Service orientation with demonstrated success in collaborating with internal stakeholders
Strong to excellent skills in using software such as Office 365/Microsoft tools
