We are looking for a Process Planner to join our team!
Primary Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute in team, the release of orders to the production floor with Configurators and Schedulers
• Ensure follow up with other internal cells and the purchasing department to ensure kits are complete at the right time for the job
• Analyze recommendations from the ERP planning system and act on recommendations
• Implement minor engineering changes that impact execution, request support from configurators in complex cases, if necessary
• Review planning when purchase order specifications, project drawings or quality control instructions (QCI) are revised
• Coordinate the verification of production route sheets and prepare store/assembly purchase orders in conjunction with the configuration and industrial engineering department
• Maintain planning records for each project (from purchase order registration to delivery of the last fixture ordered); provide a progress report in line with project deliverables
• Follow up with plant personnel, subcontractors, purchasing, engineering, quality control and quality assurance to ensure that all parties involved are on schedule to ensure that valves are delivered to customers on time
• Participate in the management of surpluses by analyzing them and understanding what causes them and execute the necessary transactions to rebalance the ERP system.

If you have:
• DEC in manufacturing production, operations management, mechanical manufacturing, or related field
• 5 years experience in production planning in a manufacturing environment
• Very good knowledge of ERP systems and their functions
• Bilingual, fluent in French and English (oral and written)
• Good knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 certification (an asset)
• Ability to work under pressure with multiple groups in a team-oriented environment
