Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, assessments, and background checks for potential candidates
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations
- Assist with new hire orientations and employee training programs
- Provide general support in employee relations matters, including answering employee inquiries and escalating issues as necessary
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and claims resolution
- Help coordinate employee engagement activities, such as team-building events, wellness programs, and recognition initiatives
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as policy development and implementation
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of HR processes and procedures
- Stay informed about HR best practices and employment laws to ensure compliance and assist in policy development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience in an administrative or support role is preferred, but not required
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software and tools
- Knowledge of HR processes and practices is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
