Become a trusted advisor
As a Technical Project Manager, from pre-sales through to integration and performance, you will be an end-to-end trusted advisor to customers, managing their engagement with our platform and building technical solutions. In a high-impact environment you’ll be project managing, problem-solving and building close relationships with customers across many industries.
As a Technical Project Manager II, you will be responsible for:
Advocating best practices for the customer and internal teams during product implementation, and providing customer feedback to the Product team
Being the central point of contact for customers and leading the integrated account team delivering customer success
Partnering with the business to review and ensure integration efficiency, high quality service and keep customers engaged
Identifying service enhancements and potential problems to ensure continuous improvements to quality of customer service delivery
Communicating with internal, external customers and partners to share information and deliverables
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field or its equivalent
Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role within the information technology industry
Show some experience of managing and delivering technical customer projects successfully
Show understanding of network, web performance, and application/network security technologies/architectures as well as project management methodologies
Demonstrate experience in managing multiple priorities
Demonstrate communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers across various levels

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $89,324 – $133,986/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
