Position Overview
Our client is a fast-growing construction company in Vancouver looking for Project Coordinator for projects in their Multifamily/residential division.
Further Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
- Develop a project management plan
- Coordinate with different stakeholders such as clients, tradespeople and engineers on timelines, assigning tasks and scope of work.
- Manage schedules and monitor project progress.
- Create, maintain and oversee project documentation and reports.
- Deal with issues as they arise.
- Manage expenditure and working hours.
- Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g., contracts and terms of agreement) under the direction of the Project Manager
- Prepare a list of deliverables for the consultants, trades and clients
- Review shop drawings.
- Issue Change Orders, Prince Change Notices, RFI’s
- Record and issue all meeting minutes.
Ideal Candidate Experience:
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Relevant engineering or construction management degree or diploma
- Experience in residential projects such as Multifamily and mixed-use
- Project experience from conception to delivery preferred
- Great time management and organizational skills
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project
