Position: Accounts Payable Technician
Location: Ville St-Laurent, Montreal
Salary: 33$ per hour
Type of job: Temporary, 6 months contract (Strong possibilty of extension)
Hours: 35 per week (Monday to Friday)
Our client, a leader in the health industry is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Technician to join their elite team. If you have a strong background in finance and accounting and are eager to contribute your skills in a dynamic work environment, we would love to hear from you!
Main Requirements:
– College diploma in Administrative Techniques with a specialization in Accounting or Finance
– Minimum two years of relevant experience in a similar role
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
– Familiarity with SAP software
– Fluent in French, both oral and written
– Strong team player with a focus on accuracy and adaptability
Main Responsibilities:
– Process supplier invoices in the SAP system
– Investigate and resolve issues related to purchases
– Record payments in SAP and on the bank’s website, in the appropriate currency
– Communicate with the bank regarding rejected payments or any other necessary payment-related information
– Analyze supplier statements, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate invoice recording
– Verify and validate corporate purchasing card reports and expenses
– Prepare and record manual deposit receipts (customer cheque payments) in the correct currency
