Employer is hiring Investment Operations Specialists to join their team. This remote position offers the opportunity to work for one of the big 5 banks in Canada. As an Investment Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the corporate Canadian head office. This role requires occasional visits to the office in downtown Toronto.
Job Duties
- Gather and format data into reports and dashboards
- Support change management activities
- Act as a problem-solving resource for junior staff
- Organize work information for accuracy and completeness
- Execute routine tasks within service level agreements
- Provide accurate and timely processing of transactions and activities
- Respond to stakeholder questions and requests with accurate and knowledgeable responses
- Follow documented policies and procedures for day-to-day transactions
- Check and reconcile information and documentation for accuracy
- Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations
- Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner or escalate as required
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives
Must Have Experience/Skills
- Previous back office banking/financial services experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams
