JANA is looking for collaborative, dedicated and fun individuals to join our Operations Team as Project Managers. JANA’s Project Managers are responsible for working closely with our partners and customers by planning, organizing, securing and managing resources to achieve the specific goals of each project. They are comfortable working with a range of stakeholders from engineers and technical staff through to executives and relish the challenge of balancing multiple projects at once. JANA’s Project Managers are the face of JANA to our Clients and the voice of our Clients within JANA. They successfully lead diverse groups over whom they have no direct authority.

Project Management
Collaborates with JANA’s Implementation, Data and Engineering Teams, along with our Clients’ teams, to manage software implementation projects from beginning to end
Lead the JANA Project Team throughout the life of the project
Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals
Develops full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and clients in a timely and clear fashion
Executes on project budget, including time and revenue reporting
Plans, schedules and tracks project timelines, deliverables and milestones
Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, documentation and presentations, as required
Conducts project post-mortems and identifies successful and unsuccessful project elements
Develops best practices and tools for project execution and management
Client Management
Acting as the voice of the Client, JANA’s Project Managers ensure the successful completion of projects, including the following:
Client expectation & scope management
Assisting clients in determining the business and process impacts
Project & activity status reporting
Issue escalation & resolution
Assisting clients in the development of change management strategies
Attending customer sites for project meetings, implementation workshops and training
Team Leadership

Estimates the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
Delegates tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel, including JANA’s software partners
Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within the project team
Coaches, mentors and motivates project team members and influences them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
Technical Qualifications
REQUIRED: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Business
REQUIRED: 1 – 3 years of experience in project management or customer service
PREFERRED: Pipeline/utility operations or risk management knowledge an asset

Collaboration: Tough but fair, able to marshal and focus the efforts of internal and external teams to consistently achieve project milestones over a 3 to 12-month project timeline

Analytical Thinking: Summarizes information concisely and clearly identifies key elements, patterns, results or relationships; utilizes data to draw conclusions and make fact-based decisions
Prioritization: Coordinates and organizes resources and people in efficient and effective ways to accomplish larger strategies and goals
Able to travel to the U.S. on short notice on a Visitor’s Visa, such as the “B1” Visas that are routinely issued as a passport stamp when crossing the border
