Machine Operator – Food Industry
Our client located in the heart of Calgary’s SE industrial sector is looking for an energetic Machine Operator to join their team and start a career with their company! Qualifications:
Experience with packaging machines would be an asset.
Experience working in the food industry would be well-regarded.
Must be mechanically inclined/understand the operation of mechanical equipment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and strong math skills.
Must be a team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive attitude.
Self-directed and able to work within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Must be able to adhere to company vaccination policy.
Responsibilities:
Working with the packaging machine to package food products, ensuring that 100% accuracy and quality goals are met.
Providing directions to the packing team working on the production line.
Maintaining organization during production – collecting the product, maintaining a clean work area, moving boxes and pallets as needed
Complete the packaging of product within timed deadlines.
Other projects and responsibilities that may arise, as required.
