Position: Administrative Clerk – Distribution
Location: Lachine (West Island) on site 5 days a week
Salary: Up to $45K (depending on experience)
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)Are you familiar with administrative tasks and have previous experience in a distribution department? Are you familiar with the utilization of expediting software tools? Are you able to work with computers and various software? Are you motivated by a supportive and collaborative work atmosphere? Do you have experience in order processing? Have you gained experience in logistics?If you have checked all of these boxes, then this opportunity is tailored to you.Benefits for you:- 2 weeks of vacation

– Experience in a distribution department (asset)
– Administrative experience
– Knowledge and ability to work with computer and software programs
– Team spirited, proactive, rapidly adaptive and resourcefulWhat will be assigned for you:- Create shipments using software or on carrier websites as well as on custom platform
– Complete a daily shipping report for accounting purposes
– Validate shipment information for goods to be dispatched
– Schedule timely pickups for freight shipments
– Track shipments with customs and carriers globally
– Manage requests for FDA forms usage
– Generate quotes for shipping costs
– Plan and organize shipments for trade shows
