CLS Roofing Looking for Project Manager / estimator at Nepean, Ontario, Canada Full Time

We are looking to fill a role at CLS Roofing for the position of Project manager / Estimator. This position is for commercial roofing and siding. This position requires 3 years experience or education in this field of work.

Project management:

• work directly with teams on site
• organize the teams in the morning and afternoon to ensure proper organization
• daily job site visits to ensure proper progress and safety
• delivering materials to site when certain items are needed
• setting up deliveries with our supplies, material orders, cranes, portable washrooms, scaffolding, man lifts, etc.
• managing directly with clients, engineers, architects, building staff, Building owners, etc.
• providing necessary documents for project ie. material data sheets, tapered drawings, submittals, proper safety documentation, change order requests etc.
• providing proper documentation for project close out.

Estimator

• meet clients at building for design construction
• take measurements of proposed work area at site to develop a material quantity list
• work with web based takeoff software to estimate building plans for square footage and measure details.
• look through specifications in our scope of work work to determine materials needed
• work with suppliers on material pricing
• experience in excel spreadsheets is an asset
• determining the amount labour needed on a project
• estimating the equipment rentals needed to perform the project safely and efficiently
