Job type: Full-time Permanent
Wage: up to $32/hr (Based on experience) Timing: 8 am to 5 pm Days: Monday to Friday
Job Duties and Responsibility:
- Manage All Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Perform bank reconsolidation and provide other supporting cash reports.
- Coordinate with the production and sales team to ensure products are shipped according to schedule and financial terms.
- Prepare weekly and ad-hoc payment reports.
- Prepare reports, file or assist for filing taxes including GST/HST, EHT, Payroll remittances.
- Prepare monthly journal entries for various account analysis.
- Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to request and suggestions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, annual audits and budget preparation for all legal entities.
- Maintain a filing system for all financial documents.
- Review cost control and financial reporting procedures, assess their effectiveness and recommend changes or improvements as necessary.
- Participate in business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities.
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.
- Other duties as required.
Skills:
- A minimum 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with ERP System (such as NetSuite) and proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point.
- Works effectively with other departments.
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
- Ability to take independent action and work without supervision.
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to details.
