Having a deep understanding of the demands of the modern workforce is integral to what we offer our learners. That is why internally, we place such value on building a work culture that is flexible and adaptive to the changing world of work. We also seek out diversity in our team. We #CelebrateEverything and encourage team members to take paid time off to celebrate their cultural, religious, and spiritual holidays. Our team is intentionally talent-dense – our strength lies in the differences in backgrounds and expertise that we each bring to the table.

Observation and feedback format:
Observations are completed 2 or 3 times per year per instructor or on an as-needed follow-up basis
Observations are completed in 2 parts:
observation of course set-up in Brightspace
observation of a class session (in-person class session)
Observations and feedback are recorded on a google form; most instructional competencies are marked ‘observed’ or ‘not observed’ with space for comments about the competency
Observations are real-time observations; they must be completed in-person at the Winnipeg campus
Observation timing and compensation:
A full observation is both observation parts together – the course set up and the class session (synchronous session). Compensation is $90/observation. Each observation takes approximately 2 hours to complete. Observations are assigned through a running list of current course offerings; the number of observations per week is the decision of the consultant, as long as the assigned observations are completed in a timely manner and the ‘deliverable’ number of observations is completed during the contract period.
Consultancy Period: usually 6 months in length
