Title:
Accountant/PayrollLocation: Toronto, ON
Length of Assignment: Temp to Perm
Salary: $19 to $20/hourly
Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume data entry into the appropriate databases
- Review data for completeness and accuracy
- Perform duties relating to filing, photocopying, printing and scanning
- Support the Administrative Services Agents in various clerical tasks, such as preparing correspondence and confidential documents
- Ensure appropriate turnaround time on all data entry for payroll descrepancies
- Interact with a variety of stakeholders and other team members to complete day-to-day tasks
- Performing data extraction in excel and creating formulas using Pivot Tables
- Perform data entry tasks in accordance with service level agreements and client demands
- Participate in various special projects including continuous improvement initiatives
- Process various administrative inquiries and ad-hoc tasks
Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma in a related field, such as business administration or equivalent training acquired from a combination of relevant work experience and education
- Knowledge in Payroll and Auditing is a must
- 2-3 years of experience in Payroll and full cycle Accounting/Auditing
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for a long period of time with a high degree of accuracy
- Auditing, able to spot discrepancies in payroll
- Advance Excel (including Pivot Table and Formulas), able to exract information
- Demonstrate good judgment, reliability, and professionalism in fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking, attention to detail and good communications skills
