Fuller Industrial Corporation Looking for Bookkeeper at Lively, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Fuller Industrial Corporation, a world supplier of carbon steel process piping systems, specializing in corrosion and abrasion resistant linings, rubber, and ceramic lining is recruiting for a bookkeeper.

This is a hands-on, roll-up-the-sleeves position that requires a strong accounting and bookkeeping background to support our financial team. You will be performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. The successful applicant will work harmoniously within our accounting department.

the successful candidate will be accountable to:

• Assist in all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, Journal Entries, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
• Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ and vendor billing issues
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable and payable data
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
• Assist in the maintenance of the general leger
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
• Support month-end process
• Collect and organize data; in the preparation of financial statements and other reports
• Assist in preparing timely monthly financial statements ie: balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, etc
• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
• Other duties assigned

Knowledge and skills required:

• Advance experience in QuickBooks Enterprise along with excellent administration skills
• Hands-on experience with Excel spreadsheets
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Practical Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Experience with creating financial reports and statements
• Through knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Work experience in a similar role; preferably within a manufacturing environment preferred
• Analytical, administration, organizational, and priority management Skills
