Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Retirement and Pension Plan Administrator. In this crucial back-office role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate administration of retirement and pension plans for our clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing exceptional service to plan participants. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping our employees plan for a secure retirement future.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan Administration: Manage the day-to-day administration of retirement and pension plans, including enrollment, contributions, and distributions. Ensure accurate record-keeping of plan data, participant information, and beneficiary designations. Monitor plan compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Participant Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for plan participants, addressing inquiries, providing information, and assisting with retirement planning. Guide employees through the enrollment process, retirement options, and distribution decisions. Conduct retirement planning seminars or workshops for employees as needed.
Compliance and Reporting: Prepare and submit required compliance reports to regulatory authorities and oversee annual plan audits. Stay updated on changes in retirement and pension plan regulations and proactively implement necessary updates to maintain compliance.
Maintain accurate and organized plan documentation and records.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze plan data to identify trends, assess plan performance, and make recommendations for plan enhancements. Generate periodic reports for management, summarizing plan activity and financial status.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with external service providers, such as investment managers, record-keepers, and third-party administrators. Review and evaluate vendor performance, contracts, and fees to ensure optimal plan management.
Beneficiary Services: Assist beneficiaries in the event of participant deaths, facilitating the distribution of benefits and ensuring a seamless process.
