MALONE Group Looking for Project Manager at Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Established in 1999, Malone Group works with leading international brands to design manage and deliver high value business critical projects. We are currently building out our Canadian structure and have a created a number of new key roles including the of a site-based Project Manager who will be responsible for delivering projects in a manufacturing environment on a customer site in the GTA.

The Project Engineer (PM) will be responsible for the successful execution of customer projects and key initiatives, within budget, on time, and meeting business objective(s).

The PM is accountable for all aspects of project performance including; planning and execution of project activities, managing project resources, overseeing financial performance and acting as liaison for senior management and other stakeholders.

Reports to Customer Project Lead

Key relationships Head of Projects (Canada), Head of Engineering (Canada)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage approved projects.
• Develop business case for projects, prepare proposals and options, and gain stakeholder support and approval
• Manage projects through a project life cycle (initiation through close out)
• Prepare budgets and provide regular project status updates and cost reports
• Perform detailed project planning including but not limited to schedule and resources and successfully execute cross functional projects
• Ensuring regulatory compliance (GMP), fire and access compliance, EHS compliance
• Interaction with appointed design teams, representing customer interests
• Close liaison with site personnel and management.
• Prepare timely project reports and communicate effectively with all stakeholders including reporting any potential project delays timely and provide mitigation plans to assure on-time execution
• Contractor management.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated success in execution of engineering projects
• Experience working in a GMP or food industry is highly desirable.
• Experience with a formal project management system.
• Ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
