The Opportunity

TriForce General Contracting is looking to add a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for construction. The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with Project Managers, Stakeholders, Vendors and Team members to facilitate efficient project operations, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

Project Coordination

• Handle project administration, including cost control, schedule control, purchase orders and change order administration.
• Liaise with clients throughout the project while addressing concerns.
• Assist and support project managers with tasks such as the development of standard operating procedures, compiling documents and making appointments.
• Track, analyze and communicate project liabilities, and resolve them as needed.
• Conduct post-impletion project review to identify gaps and make process improvement plans.
• Manage all systems for record keeping.
• Manage project budgets, track, and report project expenses on a regular basis.
• Monitor and report on the progress projects to all stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Appropriately apply project management methodology, processes, and standards

Client Service

• Provide client and vendor service via phone and email correspondence.
• Solve client inquiries in a timely manner, coordinating internally and/or escalating for support where appropriate.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound inquiries.

Administration

• Act as the point of contact both internally and externally, communicate project status to all parties.
• Work with standard and complex spreadsheets, databases, word processing and presentation software suite
• Maintain calendars/daily schedules, coordinate internal and external meetings and travel arrangements.
• Maintain accurate records of all projects including updating project binders and files.
• Support Project Managers as required.
• Perform any other administrative tasks as related to the position.

Skills/Knowledge/Education

• Post secondary degree or diploma in business, engineering, or construction an asset.
• Minimum 2+ years as a Project Coordinator; within Construction industry an asset (not required)
• Strong organizational skills, including multitasking and time management.
• Strong client-facing and teamwork skills with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-developed analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, be organized, and perform well in a deadline-oriented environment.
• CAPM is an asset.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Project & MS Office Suite
• Auto Cad or similar programs are an asset
