Adecco Professional is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join one of our clients in the media industry in Toronto, ON. We are looking for a strong individual to represent Adecco Professional in a full-time, temporary Accounting Clerk job opening in Toronto, ON from now until the end of the year; potential to extend but no guarantees! We are seeking someone and who is highly detailed, eager and a numbers-oriented individual while bringing a fast and accurate data entry/processing speed to the team. The responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk job opening in Toronto, ON may include, but are not limited to:

• Processing invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner
• Liaise with internal clients to understand charges to accounts for clearer understanding
• Follow up on return invoices and missing or incorrect details
• Verify data and correct where necessary and reach out to obtain further information for incomplete documents
• Match invoices to PO/Cost Center numbers to ensure accuracy
• Generate invoice from system to ensure timely submission and error free
• Account reconciliations
• AR and related functions
• Update customer profiles in a database
• Other clerical support where required

Required experience of the Accounting Clerk job opening in Toronto, ON can include:

• At least 6 months+ experience in an Accounting Clerk capacity (or something similar)
• Certificate/Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping or related field an asset.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent English communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Accurate keyboard skills and a proven ability to enter data at the required speed.
• Strong work ethic with a team-oriented mindset – someone who takes initiative.
