adidas Looking for Training Supervisor at Brantford, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:Lead and manage all components within the Training department with emphasis on onboarding, document control consistency and compliance to workplace regulations. Develop, implement, and continuously improve training solutions that enable the DC to meet business targets in terms of safety, accuracy, efficiency, service level, and business growth. Leverage Learning Mgmt. System (LMS) and other technologies to create, administer, document, and standardize learning processes that promote operational excellence that achieves adidas NAM business objectives. Ensure Training resources are appropriately allocated amongst the shifts. Develop the training associates/Leads so that they are fully leveraged to support DC Operations. Support and roll-out Training initiatives that provide quantifiable benefits, including, but not limited to: Increased performance, reduced turnover, and improved retention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts (Lean Team and Engineering) to design and develop training programs tailored to the specific needs of the DC.
• Identify and support Point Guards/Lead Hands to successfully onboard and administer best practices/training within functional areas of the DC.
• Deliver NAM specific training materials, including LMS presentations, job aids, and e-learning modules to increase operations excellence.
• Maintain and update the central hub for all training materials and content including SOPs, development courses, and workplace Health & Safety policies and ensure documentation is accurate, current and aligns with company policies and procedures in the DC.
• Consistently identify potential scenarios and optimal learning methodologies for the processes of onboarding, cross-training, and submission of additional training.
• Ensure effective new hire onboarding practices are in place and effectively executed for DC employees and temporary associates.
• Maintain accurate training records and document control to track employee certifications and any ongoing training/re-training needs by leveraging the Learning Mgmt. System (LMS)
• Effectively schedule and deliver trainings with the support of stakeholders to remain in compliance with NAM standards and business requirements of the DC.
• Maintain all OSHA/CCOHS/ESA safety standards, including all reporting of accidents, injuries, damages and potential threats to safety.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
• The ability to deliver engaging presentations, effectively facilitate training sessions, and articulate complex concepts in a relatable manner.
• Strong team player with proven ability to work cross functionally to achieve goals and objectives.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire trainers, monitor, and provide constructive feedback, and foster a positive learning environment.
• Proficient in process mapping tools and creating SOPs.
• Enthusiasm for understanding root causes for problems and developing creative approaches to problem solving.
• Strong analytical skills to assess training needs, evaluate program effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within an inclusive culture.
• High degree of self-motivation and initiative
• Fluent English (verbal and written)
• Strong MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PBI)
• Basic knowledge of Smartsheet functionality and a Learning Management Systems

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

• College or university degree with focus on business, industrial engineering, occupational training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years of progressive work experience in operations and logistics or in a trainings-specific role
