Job Summary
While working in an environmentally controlled area, the Food Service Worker II is responsible for a variety of cleaning as well as food and equipment handling tasks within the Cuisine Centre. This may include, but is not limited to, plate assembly, sandwich preparation, other food portioning, cleaning and sanitizing of equipment in the facility using automated or manual systems, cleaning and sanitizing of floors and surfaces in the facility including washrooms and locker rooms, general cleaning and waste handling for the facility, and other related duties as required.

Constantly lifts food, supplies and products up to 11 lbs. and occasional lifts/pushes/pulls food products and supplies between 20-50 lbs. requiring assistance from others.
Regularly requires repetitive neck flexion, reaching, bilateral handling, body movements including bending, kneeling and stretching.
Constantly requires standing and walking. Constantly working in an environmental controlled area (refrigerated temperatures).
Constantly requires visual and auditory concentration, and repetitive tasks; higher than normal levels of attentiveness and alertness for the health and safety of others.
Job Qualifications
Graduation from high school or equivalent.
Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation is an asset.
Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively.
Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
A satisfactory record of work performance is required.
