Our client is a global healthcare education company founded by a serial entrepreneur. They are a small but rapidly growing team (60+ employees) and are profitable! They are looking for a hands-on Sales Manager to lead a successful team of 4-6 sales professionals at different stages of their careers, with different sales personas and industry knowledge. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to manage a team but still has a hunter mentality and wants to be an individual contributor as well.
About The Role
- Hands-on coaching, mentoring, and motivating a high-producing sales team
- 60% managing the new business sales team of 4 professionals, 20% supporting the CRO with partnership sales, 20% coaching and supporting the account management team on upsell opportunities.
- Formulate and execute monthly and quarterly sales plans, including forecast adherence and monthly commits.
- Assist sales team with client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
- Oversee, maintain, and update the database in CRM (Hubspot).
- Assist in negotiating terms for new clients and renewing contracts.
- Create marketing collateral and presentations to be used by the partnership team for pitches to both prospective financial institutions and marketing partners.
About You
- MUST have experience with Gong/Hubspot
- Experience leading a team of 1-5 sales reps
- Experience selling to the healthcare industry
- Experience selling software/SaaS into c-suite with enterprise-level companies
- Experience working in a start-up environment
- Strong aptitude for hunting new business and managing a business portfolio
- Driven, smart, relationship-builder, player/coach
- Self-starter who can work independently and collaborate with a team
