Responsibilities
In this General Accountant role in Downtown Toronto, you will be responsible for the following:
- Responsible for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and all invoicing in compliance with company policies
- Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations
- Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation
- Perform month-end close, and journal entries, with minimum supervision
- Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation
Qualifications
We are looking for the following for this General Accountant role located in Downtown Toronto:
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience across all aspects of the function
- A bachelor’s degree in either business administration or accounting.
- Must have experience preparing budgets, forecast, and variance analysis reports.
- Strong month-end preparation experience is required.
- Experience working with large ERPs such as SAP or MS Dynamics is essential.
