Salary: £80-£90 a day

As an SEN Support Worker, you become a beacon of hope and support for students with Special Educational Needs. Your primary mission is to ensure that each individual in your care receives the personalized and tailored support they need to not just succeed, but to thrive.

Responsibilities

• Personalised Support: You will work closely with your students, getting to know them on a personal level, understanding their unique learning needs, and tailoring your support to address those specific requirements. This may encompass academic assistance, emotional support, and practical guidance to overcome hurdles.
• Collaboration: Collaboration and teamwork are at the heart of your role. You will seamlessly integrate with educators and support staff to create a learning environment that is not just inclusive but also harmonious. Your insights and contributions will be pivotal in enhancing the overall educational experience for each student.
• Assistive Tools: Embracing various assistive technologies and resources, you will work to remove barriers to learning, ensuring that students have equal access to the curriculum and the tools required to engage effectively.
• Progress Monitoring: You will maintain a vigilant watch over the progress of your students, meticulously documenting their achievements and challenges. This data will be used to provide constructive feedback and to collaboratively fine-tune strategies that cater to the unique journey of each student.
• Mentorship: As a mentor and guide, you will provide students with the support they need for both personal and academic development. Your nurturing spirit will help foster their self-confidence and set them on the path to setting and achieving meaningful goals.
• Inclusive Environment: You will act as an advocate for an inclusive classroom where every student, irrespective of their learning needs, feels valued and empowered to learn. Your commitment to diversity will be instrumental in ensuring that no student is left behind.

• While previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, it is not mandatory. What’s most important is your unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of your students.
