This opportunity is located in the community of Neepawa or La Broquerie.
Your days will include:
Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with customer sales, order management, accounting, & shipping
Guide & support the logistics coordinators & documentation team
Create policies for logistics activities
Manager Logistics operations to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, & time line objectives
Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, exports, & customer issues
Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective & effective means of transporting
Negotiate transportation rates
Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers
Direct inbound & outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management
Establish & monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems
Participate in carrier management processes, such as selection, qualification, & performance evaluation
Monitor product export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory & legal requirements
Ensure carrier compliance with company policies for product delivery
To succeed in this role, you possess:
Degree in Supply Chain Management
5 years of logistical experience
Knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Considers the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
Ability to communicate & understand information & ideas
Adaptable to changes and re organizing actions to adapt
