Job Brief
We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Clerk to join our team. This position requires flexibility, while also having considerable drive and a sense of accountability. The ability to multitask is a must. This position reports to the Operations Supervisor. You must be extremely organized and able to work as part of a team and independently. Our environment is dynamic and fast paced. The Logistics Clerk will facilitate the movement of freight both domestically and internationally. You will be responsible for document completion, data entry and records management while managing high e-mail volumes.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Review and verify shipment orders
· Track shipments and input data into the proper databases
· Respond to customer service requests
· Coordinate with vendors to manage cargo transit (e.g., dispatching carriers, bookings)
· Create necessary documentation for shipments, Bill of Lading, Air waybills and others as required.
· Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and customers etc. on an consistent basis
· Keep records of executed orders and costs in accordance with company policies
Requirements
· Previous work experience (1-3 years) in the transportation industry
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
· Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
· Excellent attention to detail
· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work process.
· Shows initiative and regularly engages in proactive behavior
· Good analytical skills necessary to resolve problems and look for solutions
· Ability to work with a team and as an individual
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced knowledge in Outlook
· Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Education Minimum: High School Diploma
Compensation:
· Position is salaried, and will commensurate with experience.
· Benefits package is available upon completion of 3-Month Probationary period

Salary: $38,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
