How Will You Create An Impact
The Practice Lead provides clinical expertise and leadership to the Cancer Care Network. The Practice Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating the implementation of regional strategies by working collaboratively with operational and medical leaders. The Practice Lead develops and recommends plans, program standards, and guidance documents, and works alongside partners to support implementation, ensuring patient-centered, consistent with current evidence and best practice, and support the strategic objectives of the organization. The Practice Lead provides leadership to program development, quality improvement and evaluation initiatives by assisting in design, interpreting data, and supporting scale and spread of the outcomes.
The Practice Lead works in a co-management model with the Medical Director and Clinical Operations leadership to ensure a consistent approach to meet organizational priorities that increases the quality of care to patients, clients, and residents who receive healthcare services. The Practice Lead is committed to high quality, research-based practice with measurable outcomes.
The Practice Lead works as a collaborative member of cross-portfolio operational teams to facilitate regional standards, while recognizing local site differences in capacity and resources. During the implementation of regional initiatives, the Practice Lead strives to build capacity within the site for ongoing sustainable practice. The Practice Lead will be expected to support success of Clinical Operations throughout Interior Health by developing strong, collaborative relationships with operational and physician leaders. The Practice Lead must leverage these relationships to understand and respond to issues and opportunities within operations, champion and build support for change, ensure new initiatives are sound, and successfully support operations to execute their implementation.
