The Frontend Software Engineer/Developer is responsible for:
- Implementing UI/UX best practices for developing user-friendly software.
- Working in all phases of software development lifecycle including design, research, development, code reviews, deployment, and testing.
- Providing a great user experience for our end users.
- Working at the intersection of design and programming.
- Translation of UI/UX design wireframes to actual code.
- Developing features to enhance the user experience.
- Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
- Building reusable code for future use.
- Be a key member of a cross-functional agile scrum team.
Basic Qualifications
- Degree in Software Engineering/Computer science or related technical/scientific degree.
- 2+ years of experience in frontend development with frameworks such as Angular.
- Some experience in automated testing frameworks such as the Robot Framework.
- Some experience in a version control system such as git.
- Strong understanding of good UI/UX design fundamentals.
- Self-motivated and hungry to stay up to date with the latest technology trends, and able to
- make sound technical decisions.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English (Both written and verbal)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment. Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Salary: $49,796.00-$130,667.00 per year
