Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for handling financial statements, creating and maintaining financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements. The Accountant will also work closely with the CEO and provide financial advice and analysis for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial Analysis skills
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience in managing accounts payable and receivable
- Experience in financial reporting and preparing financial statements
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Proficiency in Quickbooks Online is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA designation is an asset
- Experience working in a small business or consulting firm is an asset
