Job Summary
The Intermediate Accountant will work closely with the VP Finance and accounting team at INK Entertainment’s head office. The team is responsible for managing all financial and payroll transactions, tracking company expenditures, and managing the entire accounting cycle for the company.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform delegated tasks from VP Finance
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare accounting reports, as requested
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
- Prepare financial statements and product budget according to schedule set by INK Entertainment
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure INK Entertainment is in compliance with GAAP principles
- Support management with corporate requirements including but not limited to: legal corporate filings, tax implications and planning, government filings and so on
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an accountant or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
- Related certification (i.e., CPA) or working towards certification considered an asset
- Proven knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Previous working experience with accounting software
- Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Note: salary will be dependant on experience.
