We are currently seeking a AWS Full Stack Engineer (Onsite Hybrid) to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA). Please be advised that unless you are a local candidate, relocation to Halifax will be required.
We are seeking to hire a squad of 8 people to work within our existing team of software engineers, analysts, and product managers to continue build out the Fidelity Charitable Giving Marketplace. This application is designed to provide a quick, easy way for qualified participants to easily give directly to the charities of their choice. Each team member will be responsible for ensuring that we deliver an appealing and modern high-quality product to our customers. We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and implement AWS cloud-based solutions. This role is critical in enhancing our Salesforce CRM platform to extend its capabilities in support of our client’s world class customer support staff. This role has an emphasis on the data and database components of AWS development as part of a full-stack development squad practicing Agile delivery and deployment.
Technical Requirements
- 5+ years of proficiency in Cloud Databases especially AWS Managed Databases such as Aurora MySQL, Postgres, Oracle
- 5+ years of hands on experience with Cloud DB Performance, Optimization, Multiregional, Scalability, Security
- Working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL for structured and non-structured data for OLTP applications
- SQL & ORM Query, tables, schema, keys optimization and tuning
- Knowledge of ODS/big data, snowflakes, caching, elastic search and R is a plus
