Craftsman Collision Looking for Automotive Detailer at Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada Full Time

We’re currently looking for a part time Detailer for our Salmon Arm location in BC, with the option to turn full time later. This job is a great opportunity if you wish to continue a career within the Collision industry by moving into an apprenticeship as Auto Body or Refinishing Technician, or a Parts/Production position in the office.

Key Responsibilities

The Automotive Detailer will be responsible for:

• cleaning customer and replacement vehicles inside and out throughout the day
• performing minor paint defect removal as required
• completing quality checklist review
• doing facility maintenance
• emptying garbage containers
• sweeping around shop work bays
• performing minor maintenance as required (change filters, light bulbs etc.)

Requirements

To be successful in this role the Automotive Detailer will:

• be comfortable in a team-oriented environment
• have a strong work ethic, integrity and ambition to succeed
• be highly organized and detail oriented
• be able to prioritize and manage deadlines
• must have a valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract over the last 3 years
• must be legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions
