The Warehouse Supervisor will assist in overseeing a facility distributing pharmaceuticals and medical device to our own network of pharmacies, external pharmacies, hospitals, and healthcare facilities nationally. Primary responsibilities will include oversight of warehouse staff, ensuring timely and well-coordinated order management, inventory management, maintaining an efficient shipping and receiving process, and ensuring compliance with SOPs, industry best practices and Health Canada GMP.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and industry experience.
How you will make an impact
- Manage and develop the National Distribution Coordinators to ensure ongoing success in daily operations;
- Coordinate with pharmacies and support staff to ensure a high level of customer service;
- Maintain a well-organized warehouse operation using GMP and industry best practices to ensure product integrity and operational efficiency;
- Oversee receiving, put away, pick / pack, and shipping;
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to SOPs;
- Work with an ERP/WMS system (Microsoft Dynamics).
- Liaison with suppliers, customers and internal enablement teams
- Support Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Management Team
What you’ll bring to our team
- Completion of post secondary education;
- Experience in a similar role;
- Well organized, superior time management and prioritization skills;
- Strong communication skills with a customer service focus;
- Capable of leading and energizing a team;
- Experience in the distribution of pharmaceuticals or medical devices;
- Ability to perform physical tasks and capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
