Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior/Intermediate Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for various aspects of accounting including preparing compilation and review engagements (financial statements, corporate tax return, tax planning, GST/HST returns etc.), as well as preparing personal tax returns.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with preparing financial statements and tax returns
• Experience with accounting software such as Sage or Quickbooks
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• CPA designation or progress towards CPA designation is an asset
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
