Position Overview: As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)- Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations. You will be responsible for managing financial strategies, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring the overall financial health and sustainability of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, analyzing variances and making recommendations for improvement
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize financial resources for liquidity and operational efficiency
- Cost Control: Implement cost control measures and evaluate cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring regulatory compliance
- Financial Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance/accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
- Strategic Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (master’s degree preferred)
- Must be CPA certified
- 8+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in the automotive industry or related field
- Experience in commercial and residential property management industry is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., QuickBooks Online and Desktop, SAP, Body Shop Connect or Oracle)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to drive financial performance and optimize operational efficiencies
