Endurance Technologies Inc. is a manufacturing company dedicated to servicing the oil and gas industry. With diffusion alloying technology such as EndurAlloy and EndurAlon, Endurance Technologies is an industry leader in the prevention of erosion, corrosion, and abrasion. We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Consultant for a contract position ( up to 25 – 40 hours per week).
JOB OVERVIEW
Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager, you will assist in various global procurement projects, the development of supply chain sourcing strategies, and participate in cross-functional supply chain cost reduction projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist in the sourcing and procurement of materials worldwide to support the Company’s requirements for quality, delivery, innovation, and cost.
· Participates in cross-functional cost reduction projects.
· Driven to obtain best possible price on all materials with suppliers.
· Able to research, identify and evaluate new and current suppliers to meet project objectives
· Utilizes cost analysis, target costing, and other techniques to manage pricing.
· Knowledge of supply chain, procurement, purchasing practices and principles to recommend sourcing decisions based on data gathered and the overall benefit to the Company.
· Ability to work with key business stakeholders to identify cost savings/avoidance strategies.
· Aid in the development of purchasing strategies and sourcing efficiencies to mitigate cost, negotiate with suppliers and coordinate with appropriate departments to implement the purchasing strategies.
Other duties as assigned:
· Support the quality policy, scope and objectives of the quality management system (QMS)
· To protect the health, safety and welfare of the employees and other people who might be affected by the business as per the occupational health and safety policy and relevant legislations (OH&S)
Adheres to company’s life rules policy and code of ethics.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience working with suppliers on a global level (experience in the steel industry in considered a strong asset).
· Working knowledge of supply chain cost analysis and target costing techniques.
· Highly motivated, focused and results oriented individual who delivers on time and within budget.
· Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
· PC and keyboard/mouse skills required, working familiarity with spreadsheet software.
· Ability to transport self for interplant and supplier visits, must have valid driver’s license.
WORKING CONDITIONS
· This job operates in both a professional office and remotely
· This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines

· Will be based on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 – 3 months
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Experience:
- supply chain management: 2 years (preferred)
