What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Serve as the initial contact for the unit, facilitating communication with various stakeholders
- Provide supportive service to patients, nursing staff, and physicians
- Ensure integration of organizational values and principles in daily work
- Collaborate with departments within the hospital and other nursing units
- Maintain accurate records and handle administrative tasks
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an office administration program
- Minimum one year of experience in office administration
- Medical terminology course completion or willingness to enroll upon hire
- Proficient keyboarding skills
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions
- Competency in French or other languages is an asset
