Wisedocs Looking for Field Marketing Coordinator at Toronto, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Join the fast-scaling Wisedocs team as a Field Marketing Coordinator. This pivotal role requires an organized, capable, and detail-oriented professional with a passion for technology and startups. As Wisedocs’ first field marketer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating our event sponsorship, nurturing event prospects leads, and driving engagement to generate meaningful meetings at events.

The role

You are either a junior sales or marketing team member looking to further your skills in the go-to-market (GTM) side of a startup. You will work alongside our marketing and sales teams while reporting into our growing and high-contributing marketing team. Bonus: You have experience in the insurance industry, you understand the insurance “lingo” and have a strong grasp on the market.

Responsibilities

Event Coordination

• Plan, coordinate, and execute on-site and virtual events, including conferences, trade shows, webinars, and seminars
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event logistics, from pre-event planning to post-event follow-up
• Maximize event presence to showcase our technology solutions and create a lasting impact
• Order and organize booths, swag, flights, hotels, and more as it pertains to events

Lead Nurturing

• Develop and implement targeted email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive engagement, pre- and post- event
• Use automation tools to optimize email workflows, segmentation, and lead scoring
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and sales objectives
• General email marketing

Meeting Generation

• Strategically engage with event attendees, sponsors, etc. to generate quality leads and schedule meetings
• Leverage networking opportunities to build relationships with key stakeholders and industry influencers as well as marketing partnerships
• Track and analyze the effectiveness of meeting generation strategies, so the teams can make data-driven improvements

Collateral Creation

• Work closely with marketing, sales, design team members to develop compelling materials for events, including presentations, collateral, and promotional content

Analytics and Reporting

• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for events, email campaigns, and lead generation efforts
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to continuously improve field marketing strategies

Social Media

• Live stream (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other channels) events with photos, videos, and content updates
• Take and publish photos and videos at events of team, booth, sessions, etc

Qualifications

• Preferred degree or certification in Communications, Events, Marketing, or a related field
• Experience in the insurance industry is a massive plus
• Preferred 1-3 years experience in B2B sales or marketing, with a focus on field marketing or events
• Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while managing team expectations
• Proficiency in marketing and sales automation tools, such as Hubspot, Apollo, MailChimp, Calendly, and more
• Proficiency in sales CRM systems, such as Hubspot or Salesforce
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset
• Flexibility to travel for events as needed (approximately 2-4 events per quarter, though subject to change). Travel for the role under 10%
